Insight Psychology on Norfolk

I hired Gwen Dutrizac for my kids. She is an absolute nightmare. She tells me to help the kids "trust her", but she is rotten to the core in everyway. Document everything. And don't give any money to people and places that pathologize innocent and healthy children. I feel sorry for children that come to this hell that is Insight Psychology.

A child in my family had a psychoeducational assessment with this office and it was a good experience. He was able to access accomodations at school based on the recommendations of the psychologist. Testing was thorough and professional, while also rewarding for the child. The psychologist was friendly and had a good connection with the child.

My son saw Jodi Allward for over a year and it was a very frustrating experience. Jodis clear focus was on her own interests and to avoid larger difficult items. If your house was burning down Jodi would bring you a dog to pet and let the house burn. If you asked about her about her priorities for the situation she would pack it up and quit. She was selfish and self centered and that is not what anyone needs in a therapist. (At least in my opinion.) When offered reasonable feedback, she quit showing me she cared less about serving her client and more about not having to look at ways she could improve. Aside from this she is disorganized and very difficult to communicate with.
