Dropped off sewing machine to be looked atwas never told of any minimum charge, expected a call to tell me what was wrong and IF I wanted to proceed but I just got call saying it was ready n went to get it and find out it was over $100 .would have been nice to have been told about cleaning fee BEFOREHAND! Then I go to pick it up and there is no dust cover! I took it in with a cover but now they cant find it and the response I get is nothing I can do about it.this was TERRIBLE customer service, absolutely terrible! No apology, no offer to replace cover.nothing! Will never go there again

I called this shop to see if they carried the screw to hold the needle in my sewing machine that disappeared when moving. I was told no so asked if they could order one. I was told no again and that I needed to bring my machine in for servicing at $95 an hour. Say what??? My machine didn't need servicing as I explained to the woman on the phone. I have been sewing for 66 years and am quite competent in taking my sewing machines apart, lubricating, oiling, changing cogs, etc. All my machine needed was the screw to hold the needle. I would not recommend this store

I needed a lot of guidance today, and Jan took the time to understand what I wanted, show me some options, find and print a pattern, and give me good advice about how not to buy too much wool, and I was on my way. Steady stream of customers getting one on one attention.

In addition to the gorgeous yarns, the best thing is Jan herself. She is knowledgeable, creative and very helpful no matter what level of knitter you are.
