Very friendly staff, considerate and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. No carpet so bring your slippers. Hot water seems to take a while - perhaps it's hot water on demand. The bright side is it doesn't run out! Very convenient location. I've stayed at the Pinestone a number of times and frankly it's no better than this room.

Perfect little getaway in the town of Haliburton. The owners are pleasant and friendly and they strive to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Rooms are very nice and clean. Bed's are extremely comfortable, bedding is spotless and you can see the lake across the street from the motel. This would be the perfect location to stay during the summer or winter months, if your a snowmobiling enthusiast as the trails are just down the road. We are very happy with our 2 night stay and I highly recommend you check them out if your needing lodging in the Minden/Haliburton area. Thankyou Silver Maple Motel for such a pleasant experience. We will definitely be back!
