        I had hundreds of American dollars in 20s and 50s. They wouldn't exchange them for ones and fives unless I "bought" the money there. It's money. They wouldn't do literally the only thing the business exists to do. Its like going to a bank that refuses to let you deposit cheques. Thankfully the CIBC nearby happily gave me all the ones and fives they had.
