Did not expect to be charged extra $50 for thick hair :( . My hair texture is at most a 2a, completely virgin hair so I didnt expect it to be problematic or require additional fees. This is my second time at this location and both times I do feel that my bangs were not cut correct for the thickness of my hair (textbook approach for cutting bangs rather than adapting to the clients hair) I had only underlights done but was charged for a full bleach and tone. I wish there was a bit more customization in their prices to accommodate for the actual work done rather than flat fee. I would love to give a higher rating and try this location but I am feeling a bit defeated from my experience.

I recently got my haircut by Jo and I couldn't be happier with the results! She did an excellent job and I absolutely love how my hair turned out. Jo was very attentive to my hair needs and made sure that I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. She even gave me some styling tips for my new bangs. I was charged $75 and my appointment cancelled after I was 20 minutes late to a 3 hour appointment. No where was it posted that if you are tardy, your booking is considered a no show. Not on their website, email confirmations, or text reminders. A family emergency had my transportation change at the last minute. The salon called me 13 minutes passed the booking time to "check on when I would be arriving", I called back and no one answered. I raced to the salon (on my bike) as fast as possible and got there at 9:20. I was immediately met with "did you not receive a phone call from us? we are no longer able to serve you today." I explained my situation and was provided no grace, customer service, or friendliness from the salon. They offered to do HALF of my head colouring, that's the best they could offer. As I had no intention of having what I can only image is the colour version of a mullet, I said just charge me the $75. If the manager of the salon could contact me, i'd like to use my $50 rewards available to pay for this charge. As I have no intention of coming back. And no intention of recommending my friends go anymore. What a disappointment. Service: Hairstyling

What seemed like a great Mothers Day gift, turned into a bit of a nightmare. I treated my wife to what was her favourite place to cut and colour, booked 2 months in advance, and unfortunately due to a small family emergency in the morning, i wasnt able to drive her to the 9am apt. And even with biking there as fast as possible, she was 20 minutes late. My wife missed their call at 9:13 and she tried calling right back- but no one answered. She got to the salon at 9:20 and they told her they had to cancel her apt. Even with explaining the situation, they still refused service. A very unfortunate situation, and to make things worse, they were extremely condescending and rude to my wife i front of everyone in the room. So - mothers day gift ruined. And to top it all off, they are charging us with a 75$ cancellation fee- for something she didnt actually cancel. Considering this treatment costs over 400$, and the fact my wife had been going her for 2 years- it boggles my mind how they would want to lose repeat business for being 20 min late.
