Went to Ottawa for a wedding. Needed a place to stay last minute. While not a luxury hotel this place was affordable, clean quiet and minutes from downtown. It is very upsetting to book 4 rooms for family as it was my wedding weekend, to not have a cleaning service like asked. And to have bugs falling on the bed and in the bathroom, change 3 rooms because of a bug infestation and be satisfied with my stay. I have full videos showing the bugs and will be sharing them. Staff were very friendly and informative. However the room we had was not great. The price is ridiculous for what you get whereas I could stay at a cheaper hotel/Motel and get better service. First off, the tv does not have a guide setting that works and the channels have no information to show for what you're watching. When I go to a hotel I do enjoy relaxing and watching tv. This was not a good experience. Next, the bathroom sink took forever to drain and the water was always cold. Only time the water from the sink was warm was in the middle of the night. The hotel must have some kind of system set in place to save on water. The shower was only warm for 10 minutes and then became cold. Worst shower I've had to use at a hotel. The heating and cooling system is great until its night time. Again this must be on some timed system as well. I had it set to cool at night but it only came on once then the room became too hot and the system would not work. It started to work in the morning though when it didn't matter. Was a horrible sleep it was too warm in the room. Had to have the window open all night but couldn't sleep because the drunk people hanging outside in front of the hotel were so loud I couldn't sleep. I will not stay at this hotel again.
