Rockwood Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ROCK OMS)

A couple of months ago I go a really bad scare after a trip to my sons dentist, it has been such a scary experience as i just went for a regular check up and then to find out my son had a massive size tumor embedded in his jaw bone which was eating away at the dentist of his bone which could of caused him to break his jaw and so many more issues could have come out if not caught in time as it was a rapid growing tumor. throughout the process i called many different oral surgeons only to find out that they said only sick kids could perform a surgery like this, after calling sick kids and was told there would be a 6 month wait without a definite time slot, (however they did end up getting us in earlier which I was greatfull for but by that time I found this clinic. From my first phone call to them i felt so much at ease, i met the Doctor and let me tell you his calm nature helped me in this process, i felt trust in him because he went above and beyond to answer all of my questions, make me knowledgabke of everything he was going to do, was very down to earth and made everything seem easy. I am so blessed ot have found this clinic as the wehole staff is very organized, the atmosphere is very calming, clean, beautiful office and no wait times, I really think therer should be more clinic like this in this area as sick kids has a huge waitlist and thuis is a closer location for people like myself. The doctor i trusted completely my son is only 8, it was very scary to think this tumor was so big and his jaw could break at any time. The doctor performed the surgery and he made some very important choice's that i am so greaful for because he was able to save more of my sons teeth. I highly recommend this place and really think there should be more clinics like this, my son needed urgent care and I was not getting any until i called here, honestly i cant thank them enough from the bottom of my heart they really helped my son. After the surgery the doctor continues to keep me knowledgeable with everything, does not leave me wondering anything and goes out of his way to make sure we as a family and his patient feel at ease, my son thinks he is great. We are so thankful to have found this place, just wish there were more like this as i called so many and was loosing hope, it was very scary. Thank you so much to everyone there for the best experience we could ask for at a very difficult scary time in our lives. PLEASE there needs to be more places like this it is so scary calling all these oral surgeons and getting answers that they could not perform this type of surgery. I was so scared, thank god for this place he helped my son when many were not equipped to and ill forever be greatful.

Dr. Tjandra and all his staff were amazing with my daughter. I was very impressed with their client service and bedside manner. Thank you for making a less than pleasant experience pleasant :)

I just had my wisdom teeth out yesterday and it went awesome. All the staff were so friendly and reassuring, and as someone with autism who gets very stressed about new situations it was really helpful. I was in recovery and on the road in less than an hour! Thank you!! :]
