I live at 40 Mohawk Road East. I am giving my Building 1 Star for the fact that I have never met the owners and never see them. When I have problems I can't even get a hold of the owners who I pay my Rent to. I have had other tenants leave notes on my door, Laundry Items that aren't mine on my door to the point where I touch them and get a severely allergic reaction to it that lands me in Emergency at the Hospital, and hammering on my door between the hours of 1:30 am to 3:00 am. I posted Notes myself on my door to Stop this stuff from happening and the owners go to the Superintendent here and tell her to tell me to take them down. I have the Superintendent telling out and out lies about me. She keeps telling the owners that my dog is going to the bathroom on the floor which simply is not the truth. My dog is very clean and she goes on her Piddle Pads. Also the Superintendent tells the owners that I never take out my dog which is a vicious lie as well because I take her out every day to the Park. The Superintendent here doesn't see me because her apartment faces the back of the building and I take my dog out the Front of the building. The only time I take my dog out the Back of the building is when I am putting her into my Truck to go somewhere. The Superintendent here needs to get her Facts straight. The Superintendent is very nice here but she is a Jekyll and Hyde person. One minute she's nicey nice with you and the next she is really rude to you. I understand that she is under a lot of stress taking care of a building because I've been through it myself but I took care of 3 Buildings, 4 Houses, 3 Gas Stations, and 6 Other Businesses with my Husband for over 10 years here in Hamilton. The Buildings were in Hamilton and the 1 House, 3 Houses were in Stoney Creek, 3 Gas Stations were in St. Catherines, and the other 6 Businesses were all over the place between Niagara Falls and Toronto. I would really like to ask the Owners that if you have a problem with myself or my Husband about our Apartment we Rent from yous that you address us directly instead of going through your Superintendent here because remember there is always 2 sides to a Story and yous are only hearing 1 Side of the Story. I will not put up with other tenants putting Notes on my Door, Putting Laundry Items that don't belong to us, or hammering on my door on ungodly hours of the night. If this stuff keeps happening to us we will have no option then to go to the Landlord & Tenant Board to further do what is our Right As A Tenant. Now the nice person that I am I will take down the Notes off my Door but if I get one more Note stuck to my Door I am taking my Lease Agreement down to the Landlord & Tenant Board because it clearly states in there that the other tenants in my building are not to interfere with the enjoyment of us living here.
