Nova Sewing Centre

May 11, 2023. I just purchased my new SE2000!! from the service Nova Sewing Centre on Ottawa Street, Hamilton Ontario is second to none. So helpful, quick to respond to all questions. I would never shop anywhere else. Planning on getting a Brother Scan n Cut DX very soon. If you haven't shopped here, I highly recommend it. Cheryl

I went to Burlington with the intention of purchasing a Bernina but the service was terrible because of the lack of staff and product knowledgeand they didnt even help me turn on the machine and test it.she just said go ahead and try it and left.with no fabric or direction at all and left me there alone to cut fabric.so I left a went to Nova Sewing Center in Hamilton to snoop and as soon as I entered the staff were super friendly and assisted me with the machine I was interested in (Phaff 720 quilt sensation) Well, this machine was aaaammmaazzing!!!! It had every feature I wanted.the dual feed, free motion quilting, small embroidery without the whole setup like Bernina, TONS of stitches and quilt stitches more so than the Bernina and no clunky feet and dual feed.much more fun to use vs the Berninas(.their dual feed is just snorefest compared to the Phaff which is quick and reactive without the klunkyness of the large feet and dual feed arm.I WAS a Bernina lover and thought Id always be until I used this machine.It has tons of great led lighting and 10inches of work space right if the arm.plus it was super user friendly.a well trained monkey could do up a beautiful quilt if it wanted to.if you were to get into the same features this machine has but into a Bernina it would start at $6500 before tax(Bernina 740 model and up)cut that in half plus tax and you have the same machine at half the price for the PHAFF 720 Sensationthe staff at the Nova sewing center were phenomenal and kind and we had a ton of fun trying out this machine as they knew everything about it!!!! Excellent service! Bravo! My issue was a small one thank the lord. I walked in with my machine and Nicole replaced a piece of hardware for it right on the spot.

Sean is awesome. I purchased a new embroidery machine from Nova. Best price anywhere. I also had my 2 yr. old embroidery machine in for regular maintenance and Sean did an amazing job. It runs beautifully. This is definitely the place to go for all your sewing needs and service.

Several years ago I purchased my Janome MC9400 from Nova Sewing Centre. I paid a great price and was super happy with my purchase. Now I have moved into a condo and needed a cabinet for this machine with an air-lift mechanism. I went to Nova's website and saw the cabinet I needed and it was on sale. I phoned them and Sean said he would check the stock for me even though he was busy in the store. He called a little while later to say they were in stock. I ordered one and it will be available for pick-up next week. Sean is very pleasant to deal with and the customer service is excellent. He also took the time to email me directions for putting it together. Very happy dealing with Nova.
