I learnt a lot from many counsellors and got the help I needed. I treated Denovo like a buffet and took what I needed and left the rest behind. I got great help from many counsellors, four in particularthe only name of them I remember is Sarah, but they all helped me a lot.

Just spoke to a lady on the phone now and the call ended with her hanging up on me. I sadly called to find out about space capacity bc my partner has been waiting months to get in and she didnt provide an answer. Hanging up after talking about the patient self harming and trying to know space capacity is a horrible way of conducting your job. Real shame and frankly scary that vulnerable people are within your care.

This treatment center was the best 35 days of my life. I was taught how to take care of my mental health in ways I didn't know were possible. All of the counsellors took everyones issues 100% seriously 24/7, literally. You are in constant care from people who truly care, rain or shine, day or night, they maintain professional and sincere. Just truly amazing people. This program i would strongly recommend to anyone who is struggling. Kim was great at getting me in the doors, feeling warm and welcomed, and back out. Always takes time to speak with the family in the parking lot to reassure them. Judy and steve were my primary counselors and they played a huge part in teaching me how to save myself from my own internal issues which were driving me to drink. Randy was a truly inspiring man who i had some of the best conversations of my life with. Amy drove me to answer my own internal struggles, and my self confidence skyrocketed. Denovo will source the root of the problem through 5 weeks of in class content directed at addiction and mental health. I still cant believe how much i learned and had overcome there. I am fully restored and feel like there couldnt have been a better thing happen for me. I feel so lucky to have met these fine people. But you have to want to change to be able to fully enjoy the fruits of the labour in this program. Its not easy for everyone, but it is truly a gift to behold. The kitchen staff deserves a huge thank you for well balanced delicious hearty meals served on time and fresh. The maintenance staff keeps the facility above standards, giving a great sense of a clean environment to adapt to. Five stars.
