I bought a home from devonleigh this year. The house its self was good. Few issues they have been working on. However, we were never told the level of drilling, blasting etc that would be going on behind us. They are building approx 260 homes behind us and havent done sewers or roads. For the last 6 months all Ive listened to is constant noise that sounds like someone kicking at my door all day long. The first time this was addressed the owner said his goal was to be done by October. Now not till at least January. There is nothing they will do for us or anyone else. As someone with a small child and working evenings, I get to listen to this garbage all day long while my son wont nap because of the noise. It has made our life much more difficult. I advise retired people, or people who have young families not to buy from devonleigh if future construction will be continuing around them. I have written three emails addressing my concerns, and am now being ignored. I understood there would be noise from the construction of the builds around me, however the level of consistent noise from the drilling and blasting behind our house for roads etc. is hard to live in. Again the house is fine. The actual build. However it was not worth buying a home from devonleigh with how much it has disturbed our day to day lives
