I have recently started going to Physio Works Muskoka. From Jackie, the Physio Assistant to physiotherapists Brittany and Carolyne, all I can say is; What and amazing team. Within a couple of days, my pain has decreased 10 fold. I know there are others on that team, I just haven't met them yet. I am sure they are just as amazing. Highly Recommended!!

I cannot begin to express my gratitude for Brittney and Jackie at Physio Works Muskoka. I had been dealing with a painful pelvic issue for almost 7 months when I made an appointment. For those 7 months, I had been seeing doctors, specialists and having numerous tests, with no results. Right away I was impressed with the very comprehensive medical review. I could tell, these people cared! Im ecstatic to say Im feeling 100% better and it only took 6 appointments. I would highly recommend Brittney and Physio Works Muskoka. Thanks again for all your help, support, and guidance.

I saw and received treatment from Carolyne 6 years ago. I wanted to write a review then but unfortunately her business was just starting up and there was no online presence or display. Here are my takeaways (mind you this was from 6 years ago, but you never forget and I still kept our email interactions on file), new mom with a colic baby. 1. Her clinical practice would change frequently between proactive and a clinic in downtown huntsville. I would frequently receive calls from Sarah (pta) of a location or time change. 2.They would not issue appointment cards, only send it through email. I found this odd considering internet was not accessible especially where I lived, and data on my phone was very limited with my plan at the time. I mentioned that internet is not the same as it is in the city but was met with a cold expression. 3. Despite having an appointment time, i would be expected to wait 20-40mins for her. It felt my time with a new baby was not important. And her services were $120 for an assessment and $90 for a treatment. I thought by paying these prices time management with sincere apologies would be naturally provided. 4. I will say i feel her practice was a calling for her, and I will not deny Carolyne does have valuable skill sets since my condition did resolve with her help. 5. I felt overwhelmed with the amount of exercises she prescribed especially since I was very tired with a fussy baby. I had hoped that she would have listened to me and provided me with her top 3 preferences. She recommended I start eating flax seeds but I did not appreciate her tone when I told her I started. She asked if they were ground and I said no. She gave me a disappointed look and said your body won't respond well to whole flax seeds. I told her I didn't know I was supposed to buy ground and the disappointed look continued. 6. Now with my background she asked me if knew where to acquire items clients of hers would need. I told her Hometown Drugs has everything or they can order it in within a reasonable time. She asked if I could look into a specific item for her. I did for free and she did thank me. 7. Now I may have signed a cancelation policy but it was never mentioned in our email exchanges nor did i remember signing one. I missed an appointment (not surprised considering how often location or appointment time would change with short notice at times). Anyways I was told I would need to pay $50 for the missed appointment. I was shocked reading this. I mentioned it was a first offense, perhaps due to the lack of appointment cards/change of times/locations and I don't think I should be charged for these reasons. That a hair salon or spa would have compassion especially for these reasons. The response i received was: We are not a spa or hair styling salon (Carolyne you can verify this through your email as well) but we can drop the fee to $25. I was shocked. She is new to the area and is now downplaying other establishments as well admitting no fault. I responded with: I think my services are done. She did respond back that she was willing to waive the fee but I lost all respect I had for her and was no longer going to let her touch a personal area on my body. Anyways in short, you will receive the care you need, but do not expect any compassion. Business is number 1 priority, not you.
