This review is for something horrible that happened several years ago. I hope with all my heart that this organization has improved since then. I had called to report the abuse and neglect of a young girl. CAS did the bare minimum (showed up, did some questioning and then left). I called them back and asked why they didnt do anything. The case worker was useless and believed the words of the abuser (a charming manipulative individual). I asked the case worker over the phone to speak to the manager but she strongly suggested how close she was with her manager and how nothing would come of it. I asked what proof they needed to actually do something. Did they require the child to get a limb broken? Well thats pretty much what happened A few years later, the child ran in front of a truck. This blood is on your incompetent hands. Please do your job and help vulnerable children.
