As a veteran, I was looking for a physiotherapist who understands that knee rehabilitation involves more than focusing on the knee. Tanner at Balance Physiotherapy - qualified also in kinesiology - has provided me with outstanding technical and motivational support. He listens and applies his knowledge holistically to help me improve.

From the very first visit I was impressed with Tanner assessment of my injury and how to proceed. Tanner spent the full scheduled time in each of the follow-up visit and helped me make progress via simple but effective exercises. I now recommend Balance Physiotherapy to anybody complaining of sore body parts.

I went to see Tanner for physiotherapy treatment for a recurring knee injury from running. I had been to a different clinic previously but the injury kept happening and decided to try somewhere new. Tanner is an avid athlete himself (cycling and running) and seems to specialize in athletes from these sports. Because of this, he clearly understood what I was trying to describe and the conditions when the injury happened. Rather than treating only the injury, he spent a few sessions to understand my running form and range of motion to help better pinpoint the cause of the injury. He then prescribed exercises to help address these underlying issues to prevent it from happening again. Would definitely recommend him for other athletes!

Tanner is an awesome physiotherapist and hard to beat in Ottawa! Friendly, knowledgeable, patient, understanding. Highly recommended!!

Tanner did a great job! He is very knowledgeable and definitely made my rides so much better. I gained power and feel much more comfortable over the bike. Thanks Tanner!
