Mister Transmission

The past few weeks I am experiencing troubles with my transmission, so I started to look around. I haven't heard a lot of good stuff about this place from friends so I decided to check if the rumors were true myself. Went in for some information and pricing and got very disappointed. I found them overpriced, shady and vague.

Scam artists. Don't go here. They capitalize on people not knowing any better. They lie about the problem with the vehicle and lie about the work that's been done only yo charge you as much as possible. Maybe with enough honest reviews, they may learn what honesty is... EDIT* To clarify I have not been customer here, I have one close friend that has had a bad experience here, which did not lead me to writing this review, but is the reasion I would not have chosen this place. However. After now having my own transmission issues and vocalizing to everyone who asks where my truck is, the shear volume of people who have warned me about this place is staggering to say the least, 4 of which have suggested leaving a bad review. The first person to suggest didn't have me thinking I should, the second and 3rd person to suggest made me think " that's not the first time I've heard that." And the forth person to suggest a bad review, who was not the forth person to warm me, changed my mind about the review, in hopes I can help some else not fall into a trap. Every single person said the exact same 5 words I started this review with. You sleep in the bed you make for yourself, you know..

I brought in my vehicle quite a while ago because there was a rattling noise coming underneath. It needed a new transmission, according to Kyle, and we went ahead with the repair as I was assured, they are the specialists. The repair was done, and it was working perfectly fine for a while, until I lost drive on the highway all of a sudden! That was a scary and dangerous experience and thank God that I was able to handle it without get involved to an accident. Imagine if someone else from my family has taken it that day... It should be still under warranty but I am not bringing it back because he was dishonest and told me what I wanted to hear I guess. I don't mind paying another garage as long as it will be safe for me and my family to drive. I wouldn't recommend this shop. Scary experience.
