I am a returning guest at this property for 3 years and will continue visiting as this has become a part of our family routined getaway. Cottages are well kept, very clean and literally a hop, skip & jump into the shallow entry, sandy bottom, private lake. Cindy & Kamal have been very friendly & welcoming each time we visited and were consistent in being wonderful hosts. We barely saw them throughout the duration of our stays but when we did, it was usually followed with a brief greet from Cindy or Kamal maintaining the grounds daily (as he should) by taking pride in the up keep of their property. We rented all 3 cottages on the lake as well as the secluded house on the hill which was very private. We respected their place and given the same respect in return. Sadly, I read some reviews, hence the reason I wrote mine and thought it was important to address: you really can not please everyone, all the time. I am a returning guest along with friends, family and my children and the owners have always done their diligence to provide proper accommodations & ensure all guests were comfortable. If youre looking for a fancy stay theres always Hilton Hotel, but if youre looking for a cottage getaway to enjoy, relax & unwind, bbq, cook (as theres kitchen facilities), roast marshmallows, sit by the fire-pit, play games on the beach, swim for hours, kayak or simply lay on the beach without a worry in the world, then make sure to book in advance as availability is usually limited. Its a cottage not a hotel or campground, its equipped with home size stoves and refrigerators, clean bathrooms, beds to sleep, beautiful lake views and enough space both inside and out for your enjoyment or personal entertainment, so if youre not one to complain about every little minor detail then this will certainly be your moneys worth. The beach front is definitely the highlight and its a great get away from the city noise. See you in the Summer

I've been there for 2 summers in a row and I'll do the next year for sure . I highly recommend you to make your reservation cause some people do it even one year before . The staff are so nice , friendly and helpful . You can literally walk 30 steps and you will be into the water enjoying this clear lake . Pretty close there is a public park and you can take your kids to the playground. Ideal for a romantic scape or a family trip . You can buy your foods and drinks at Walmart in Huntsville which is on your way and save some money but also there is a grocery store 5 mins away . I took those pictures this year and I hope you enjoy the views cause I simple love it .. !!
