In mid September of 2022 I was in need of a septic system contractor to replace our failed system. We really lucked out when I heard about JD Duke Excavation. When I spoke to Jeff, he told me he was booking for mid November. His quote was one of the best prices, but It was also the most detailed and had fewer exclusions than the rest of the quotes we looked at. We chose Jeff to do the job and couldnt have made a better decision! On time and on budget, and also a fair price for some extra driveway rebuilding that wasnt in the quote request. Throughout the job, Jeff kept me apprised of the progress of the work and answered any questions I had. I definitely recommend Jeff

If I could give 6/5 stars I would, I rarely leave google reviews but felt compelled to leave one here. Jeff took care of our septic, grading and backfill and I am floored at the high quality level of service, dedication, expertise. He is extremely knowledgeable, even made much needed corrections according to code and regulations which our engineering firm missed but of course Jeff caught and the health unit inspector was very happy with the changes. He kept things within my budget, despite material price increases and many many more loads needed than anticipated. He went over the call of duty to ensure the septic bed blends in nicely with the rest of the land and has the perfect grade for drainage. I would not choose anyone else!!! Seriously amazing service.

We have a driveway and culvert that was put in with the house in the early nineties, and it was time for replacement. Over the years the pavement had heaved and cracked pretty badly, in large part because the bed underneath was so thin and sat on clay. J.D. Duke came in and removed all the old material, dug out the bed to a proper depth, replaced the culvert on a reinforced culvert bed, added a barrier between the clay and aggregate, and added a gravel pad for a secondary garage. Jeff came by for a site survey a couple days prior to work, let us know how the work would be carried out, and answered all the questions we had. We had a couple minor changes (including the pad and access to it) that were added with no problems at a reasonable cost, and the project was completed on-time and on-budget. The base is rock solid, the pavers who came after were in and out in a morning and commented on how little they had to do because of the work J.D. Duke had done, and we're really pleased with the end result. Jeff's a great communicator and a perfectionist. Highly recommended.
