The Overlook - CaraCo Property Management

The Overlook is for the most part, a well-run building. The superintendents are excellent. But the washers in the laundry room are terrible. The glass that should allow you to see your washing swishing around is darkened to the point that it's impossible to see in. I used a flashlight to help me see, and there's a bare minimum of water. I've used the washers a couple of times and items don't come out properly clean. I take my laundry to a laundromat, which is a major inconvenience!!

The Overlook is in a great location for stores, buses grocery shopping. The superintendents are excellent in keeping the building safe and clean and I find them very helpful. However there are things in the building badly in need of repair namely the balconies and windows. But most of all , the entrance into the building. The lobby is very drab and outdated. Myself a tenant consider my apartment to be my home and part of that home is the lobby . It is not a welcoming site, Cracked floors, a mixture of colors on the floors, empty plant containers with spilled paint and worn metal furniture. All the other Caraco apartment lobbies have been updated with nice furnishings but for some reason, this one always gets thrown aside. We have been promised an up to date lobby for the past twelve years but still hasn't.t happened, Very disappointing. And the rents are high like others in the city but the others are updated . Very disheartening. I have brought this matter to those responsible for the upgrades but have not had any replies from them
