He is fantastic! I cant recommend him enough! Honest guy who knows a ton about sewing machines and sergers and will give you an honest assessment of your machine and whether he thinks its worth fixing or beyond repair. Hes also great for routine maintenance!

Well took my machine to this fellow ,total disappointment, charged me $90 cash For fixing. Went to take my machine found out Thread holder stick is wobley and broken . I said not a big deal as long as machine is working . Took machine home wife told me sliding tray for placing bobben is falling off too,machine was smooth prior to fixing now running hard. And bottom thread is bumpy bumpy Called Gilbert and told issue with machine . His reply totally not un professional. More sound like money Graber. Here his answer. Machine is 40 years old. I said you could have told me honestly that this machine in not worth of fixing. But he did not. He said I already checked the machine For checking he charged $40 he said. Scam scam scam Please be aware of this guy. He is old fellow ,like grand father I droped back machine to his home for fixing again second time . He warn me this time I won't charge ,I said you have not fixed properly my machine in a first place anyway . Total disappointment
