Disappointed. I was expecting excellent customer service, attention to detail and (for the price), an amazing hair cut. Despite arriving early for my appointment, I felt like I was being rushed through the process to get me out the door. The stylist was very confident, so when he didn't communicate about his plans for my hair, I didn't fuss and trusted the process. Right after finishing my cut, he ripped the cape off and said farewell. I didn't get up right away because I was genuinely surprised that the haircut was finished - he did no finishing touches to fix the uneven pieces, didn't check the symmetry of my layers, and I noticed he didn't fix my part before starting which now leaves me with an uneven cut. He didn't skip a beat rushing me up to pay at the desk. I wasn't given any opportunity to share my thoughts or ask for adjustments. Overwhelmed and anxious, I paid and left. For the price, I expected more from my salon experience and haircut from Brett. P.S. I've seen from other, more poor reviews that this salon will look you up in their system by name and use your info as leverage in their response, thus why I'm writing this with an alias. Had my hair and make up done yesterday for my cousins wedding. It was a wonderful experience. Hailey was my make up artist and she was so easy to talk to and did such an amazing job on my make up! Jeremy styled my hair and he had the most vibrant energy, and I could feel how much he loves doing what he does! I loved sitting in his chair. Thank you guys for making me feel beautiful on such a special day!!

Advertied prices don't mean anything at James Brett... You could charged about 30% more... It is the Kingston style of doing business...
