Focus Eye Centre

Communications with office and between doctors was non existant, had to call to set my own follow up appointments or they didnt know I existed, was told i was healing great and things would come around, they then sent me to my own eye doctor who told me they didn't do it correctly, I now cannot focus my right eye at all, thank god I didn't get them both done there. My main hope was just to be able to wear good sunglasses fishing now I still cant do that and have to purchase new glasses on top of the surgery cost. Would not reccomend at all. 0 stars!!!!!

Fantastic staff. Fantastic care. Very knowledgeable. Surgery without long waiting period. I would give them more than 5 if that was possible.

Overall experience is a 3/5. 1. Communication; getting through to their office is virtually impossible. You can leave voicemail after voicemail, email after email, and still wait literal weeks for a response... It took 3 emails and 1 voicemail over the span of 2 weeks to finally get a response, 2. Punctuality; when you go to your appointments, be prepared to wait excessively long times to be seen. They bounce you around the office to different areas to see different people, which is fine, but do not give you any sort of indication of how long you will need to wait. On one of my last visits before the surgery itself, I was sat down in a chair, then told to go back and wait in the waiting room as she needed to go back to the last desk to retrieve my data, only for her to come back and start helping someone else, and for me to sit there for 30 minutes and then eventually be seen by a totally new person? Seems very disorganized. 3. Surgery; I am pleased with the surgery and outcome - the doctor and nurses were very compassionate and informative on surgery day and I felt well-prepared to succeed with my healing process. I haven't had many issues since my surgery, and the few things that aren't "great" are all things they told me may take time. Hoping they resolve themselves soon enough.

I had such a great experience! The staff was Super friendly and supportive every step of the way. Especially during covid-19, I was very impressed with the level of cleanliness and social distancing at the office. A special thank you to Michelle Owen who was so warm and friendly and answered all of my questions and always put me at ease! Highly recomend!

I could not be happier with the results! From my first pre examination the information they gave me and time they took to explain everything in detail made me feel at ease and confident that I was in the best hands possible for the procedure. These people genuinely care about your well-being and satisfaction. Best of all it was quick, painless and LIFE CHANGING!!!
