I've been working with Tara for a few months now after seeking out somatic treatment options for my physical and mental well-being. After an initial consultation, Tara was able to effectively assess and pinpoint the causes of my chronic lower back pain and TMJ dysfunction. Results were noticeable within the first session! Words are unable to fully capture the layers in which Tara has powerfully understood the layers of my movement oddities. I have been dealing with chronic pain and dysfunction that no other specialist I have met could understand. This stemmed from a traumatic birth impact on my system. Taras expertise and professionalism is unmatched. Her knowledge of the body always amazes me. After years of struggling with lower back pain Tara has been the first to identify and improve my exact points of weakness. Further, shes been able to improve issues that I wasnt even aware of, including breathing, posture, muscular imbalances, and digestive function. I never imagined I would see this much improvement in my overall health. I travel an hour and a half to come to Tara and shes worth every minute!

I initially came to Tara about chronic arm pain that was not fully healing after two years of various treatments. Tara evaluated that previous concussions might be affecting the my healing. Just a few sessions, many of my concussion syndrome symptoms have improved, the arm pain and also vision problems such as vertigo. I went to Tara because I was experiencing chronic GERD and lots of TMJ symptoms. Truly, every day was uncomfortable for me! I have seen several osteopaths, craniosacral therapists, and TMJ specialists over the years. I have a really large abdominal scar from a surgery I had when I was 7. Tara is the first therapist to do deep scar release work on me, and the results have been profound! Not only have I felt incredibly validated in my suffering (my symptoms were not just in my head!) when many doctor's told me that I was OK, but, my GERD symptoms have greatly reduced/almost fully disappeared, and my gut is happier than it's been in a long, long time. Tara has restored my belief in my body's capacity to heal, and has greatly reduced the discomfort and pain I was experiencing. Thank you Tara!
