Andrew Shackleton

I found Andrew's website first when researching about the KW area. It has a lot of useful information and it impressed us so we decided to give it a try with him. He is on time for every showing, and he doesn't hesitate to point out where he doesn't like about the houses, which is very rare with our previous realtors. He checked the outside of the houses in advance during the day when we were visiting during the evening so that we won't miss any major issue because it's too dark to check. He also helped us with the inspection when we were to busy to travel to Waterloo. He even helped us draw the kitchen plan because we want to do renovations on it. And he replied our texts and emails in a very timely manner almost 24/7. I don't regret choosing him as our realtor at all and would do business again with him in the future.

Andrew knows the Waterloo region inside-out and has a no-stress, no pressure approach to home buying. He's not the kind of agent who will praise house you visit just to entice you to make an offer. He's always happy to keep visiting with you until you find the right home for your family. He's also pretty knowledgeable about houses in general and will often point out small details that you would have missed. I highly recommend his services.

From Andrews first email reply, I knew we would have a pleasant and easy working relationship. His professionalism, trustworthiness added with years of experience and knowledge are some of the traits that describe Andrews working style. Andrew is also super patient as we never felt any pressure. Most importantly, he is always looking out for his clients best interest. You want an honest agent that really gets the job done, Andrew is the one!! I highly recommend Andrew for your real estate needs without hesitation.

We were moving from BC to Ontario and I was speaking with a realtor who was very negative about our budget, about areas that were listed as good areas and kept ending his emails with comments basically saying we weren't going to get anything. We lost out on a home because he wasn't in a hurry to go look for us and said it wasn't going to sell. It sold the next day. I began looking for a new Realtor and came across Andrew's website. I'd never seen anything like it! A personalized video for every single district in the Waterloo/Kitchener area. Detailed crime reports I hadn't seen anywhere else. Easy to read school ratings map. What is around you in every place. Everything you could possibly want when researching where to buy a house. I thought man, this guy is incredible, he's going to be too busy for what we need. From the moment I contacted him, he treated us as if we were a priority. He was upbeat, direct and had an easygoing attitude it was easy to feel comfortable with. And he knew EVERYWHERE. He gave specific examples of why/why not to live in places I mentioned. He sent all sorts of statistics and updates without even being asked. If we were interested in a home, he was ON it immediately. We were so comfortable with Andrew we did all of the showings by video call! It was choppy and froze a lot of the time but he was so detailed about the homes he went in, saw things I'm positive other Realtors wouldn't even look for and told us how to fix any issue he saw and how much. He even let us know about any normal home wear and tear and how to maintain it. He was up until 11pm multiple times trying to get information for us. I'd wake up to messages in the morning with ideas on how to proceed and find us the right home. I have never in my life seen someone be so dedicated to their job and their clients. We are now in a great home in a fantastic area of Waterloo (despite being told that wouldn't happen by previous guy) with great neighbors and a Realtor who is still offering to help with anything we need, even with small renovations. If you already have a Realtor get rid of them because they aren't Andrew, so they aren't the best. If you don't, I can tell you there is no one I would trust more than Shackleton.

He is an honest guide on the side who makes sure "YOU" are happy with each step in the process, from list price to marketing to counter offers and final acceptance. His marketing strategies are superior and diverse, including professional photos, feature sheets, live videos, advertising in multiple targeted cities, and social media.
