Rim Doctor is amazing!! Gerry treats your car like it is his own. My 2004 Mazdaspeed MX-5 is rare and came with factory Racing Hart wheels that are almost impossible to find in good condition. There was only one new wheel and it was to be shipped from California at a price of $518 per rim. I did a Google search and found RIM Doctor. This was the best experience ever!!! The Mazdaspeed MX-5 had 3 slight bends in the front driver's wheel, then there were also bends in the passenger front wheel. This happened over time as the Racing Hart wheels are light, but soft and can bend easily when hitting deep potholes. It finally got really bad after hitting an unmarked construction bump that was 7 inches deep. As the car sits low to the ground, that bump really messed up the rims and you could feel a vibration at certain speeds. Gerry was completely up front with what he could and couldn't do. He advised me that if he couldn't get the rims completely straight, then he would let me know and my best course of action would be a new set of wheels. I wanted to keep the original OEM Racing Hart wheels because they were original to the vehicle. It cost me only $160 per wheel versus $518 per wheel to buy new ones. Next spring, I will go back and have Gerry completely restore the rims to remove any curb rash, getting them back to mint, showroom condition. Gerry is professional, meticulous, honest and on time. I recommend his service to anyone that has some vibration coming from their wheels. Avoid the cost of expensive factory wheels....go to the RIM Doctor instead. Also, he has a fantastic selection of after market wheels and great deals on tires. He's installing Firehawk Indy 500 ultra high performance tires (little known secret is that Bridgestone bought Firestone a few years back and the Firehawk is an amazing tire with the best Bridgestone technology at a value price point). Hoping to also order 20 inch Enkei SS05 rims in Hyper Grey for my 2013 Toyota Highlander in the spring. Thanks so much Gerry! You have a loyal customer for life. Won't be going anywhere else for tires or rims. PS. His dog Berlin, a beautiful English bulldog, is awesome security for your vehicle being left overnight. I can't recommend Rim Doctor enough. Service was fast and pilot. The workmanship was fantastic as well.
