Highly recommend! An absolutely beautiful location, peaceful and quiet with lots of wildlife to enjoy. The cottage was lovely, with everything we needed and spotless! A magical spot on the lake with all the amenities needed for the kids to have a great time. The owners were excellent to deal with and very helpful. We are already booked again for next year.

Absolutely LOVE this place, it is so peaceful and quiet. I have been coming here for more than 10yrs. I love the closeness of the water and the quaint laneway you drive down, lined with trees to get to it. There is very little (car) traffic that goes by. Also with it being located in a bay, there is not a lot of boat traffic zooming by in front of the cottages. I love the fact that you really feel like your getting away from everything.....i like that there are no TV's here, you can really unplug for the time that you are here. The cottages are well kept, and have all the amenities you need....dishes, cookware, utensils, microwave, oven, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, etc. As for the person who complained that their hopes were dashed as soon as they got here......all I can say is that it sounds like you are used to VERY high standards and you should stick to renting $3k or more a week cottages that can cater to your every need. Not sure why you think the owners owed you a boat ride around the lake, if you stayed anywhere else, you would have to pay for using a boat. The reason their prices are very reasonable is because they don't rent boats. You can't have it both ways. For those people who like to relax and wind down from the world, I highly recommend Islandview. The cottages have all been updated with insulation, drywall and a fresh coat of paint inside and out. Each cottage now has their own dock and firepit and the 3 bedroom has a nice elevated deck out front to relax and watch the water. Still love coming here, the best sunrises I have ever seen.
