I love coming into this location for Fran, because she is amazing and one of the only people I trust with my extremely sensitive skin! I suffer from rosacea so its bad! Recently we did a couple oxygen facials, which have been helping with the texture of my skin! However, she had to cancel last time. They told me to reschedule, but I definitely would have appreciated if they had just let me know when she's got some availablity next, to save me the trouble. I really wanted my oxygen facial though, so I said as long as I had the exact same facial as last time then I was comfortable with someone else doing it instead of canceling. The person doing my facial was really careful with my skin, but when it came time to putting the mask on it turned out they were out of my usual mask. I was immediately uncomfortable and unhappy because this was a different mask and I wouldn't know how my skin would react. Unfortunately, I did have a reaction because the mask had active ingredients. When I called in to express how red my skin was they told me that usually masks are interchangeable. While I understand that, I only agreed to let someone else do my facial because I thought I would get the same mask as last time, and I had also let the person doing my facial this time that I was avoiding active ingredients in my skincare. So, I'm not happy with my recent experience because I don't spend my money on a facial to leave with a reaction. I did appreciate a follow up on their end, because they took the time to explain what happened and offered to adjust the price next time. I do understand given how sensitive my skin is. Unfortunately, I did have a negative experience and while the masks are interchangeable I still had a reaction which is not what I pay for! I'm happy to change my rating to a 4 or 5 star review, if my next experience goes better!
