I was referred to Soni Dentistry and Dr. Liu after a three year struggle with TMD. I started by trying the conventional dental treatment of a night guard, but was unable to tolerate it due to gagging. I started to search for other options and was connected with a craniosacral therapist and a speech language pathologist. Through them I learned I had a tongue and lip tie and how this impacted my jaw mechanics and why I gagged with a night guard. After several months of treatment I was referred to Dr. Liu and had my tongue and lip ties released. The procedure was simple and had minimal pain and the recovery was quick with no down time. Within a week of the procedure I had a significant reduction in TMJ pain as well as improvement in snoring at night. I would highly recommend Soni Dentistry and this procedure to anyone suffering from pain or dysfunction. It is nice to have a simple, viable and permanent solution to a problem that is so common.

Dr Liu and her team were so great at explaining every aspect of the tie release on my little guy and why it was suggested before even moving forward. They were so involved in the follow up and healing process. We truly felt like more than just another patient- we felt important and cared for. Would definitely recommend!
