We built our house with Jefferson homes but we had a few issues so Max Huezo the service manager took care of these issues in a professional way and he was very helpful. He also responds very quick to anything I needed We are very happy with the overall results and would like to thank him for his work

We built our home a couple years ago at the height of the pandemic. The build was a bit frustrating and ended in a house with some minor issues .. The builder went through a few service managers who were not responsive and unable to address my issues in a proficient manner. They have hired a new service manager, Max, who was able to address the issues we had. With any new build (especially nowadays) you will come to find some imperfections. Im glad they hired Max as he seems to actually care about the clients satisfaction in the end. Its in the companys best interest to keep their good staff happy and I hope this is the case.

Initially after purchasing our home, there were several, (albeit small and minor) defects that needed addressing. This is common with all new builds, and, as we have previously built new homes in the past, was expected. At the beginning, shortly after taking possession, there was very little communication and/or work being accomplished. We felt like our issues weren't getting attended to at all. However, we are very patient and understanding individuals, and understood the delay due to the impact of COVID. Everything completely changed once Jefferson Homes hired Max into their fold; the communication has been amazing, and our issues are finally getting addressed. He is exceptionally professional, easy to communicate and deal with, and keeps you in the loop. I think it's exceptionally clear how much he cares about all of us home owners and really puts himself in our shoes when addressing problems. I really really feel like things are getting accomplished, and truly feel that this is largely due to Max's care and compassion. He very simply puts the customer first. We've had him working at our home before 8:30am and have had him continue to work past 6:30pm on several occasions. If Jefferson Homes could hire multiple Max's, they would be doing themselves a big favour. One more shout-out - after the inner part of our house was touched-up, Max sent out a professional cleaner, Ana. Believe me when I say this, she is the best cleaner you have ever (and will ever) see in your entire life. Our house was absolutely immaculate; I dare say it was cleaner than any house I have ever lived in. She really went the extra mile, and cleaned every nook and cranny in our home.

Jefferson homes is by far the worst builder I have ever encountered. The only good thing this company has going for them, is their one employee Max.who seems to be sent over, fixing all sorts of contractor deficiencies. The homes themselves are visually appealing on the exterior, and this is sadly about all the positive thing that I can say about them. I hope that anyone who is considering jefferson, would also know the way they treat their customers and staffit is utterly atrocious, and should be a focal point when you consider dealing with this company. I took possession of a walk-out, Waterford unit in Kilworth heights, in September 2021. During the PDI, many items (mostly cosmetic) were identified, but have yet to be corrected as March 2023. The builder took a very hostile approach from the start and was confrontational about many issues. For instance, when I had requested them to come and switch the chrome bathroom faucets to the correct black faucets I had purchased, the sales rep, Jessica, called me a liar and refused to approve the work order. After ignoring my emails for 3 days, she finally called me and admitted she had not looked at the purchase agreement, and that I was correct. No apology was offered. Even currently, the builder has refused to complete minor repairs, is abrasive and hostile during commutations and very slow to respond. They will not attempt to deal with you on repairs until close to the Tarion inspection date, and then ask for a time extension. I do not recommend this builder. Their staff is not well educated or trained and it is difficult to keep track of who is currently employed, since their staff turn over seems so high. I would think twice before dealing with them. I have uploaded of a few photos from the PDI which have yet to be corrected.

We love our Jefferson home. We moved in late 2021. Admittedly, there were delays to fixing items on our PDI and 30 day list due to the pandemic. However things turned around when Max the new service manager joined in mid 2022. We have absolutely LOVED working together with Max, he has been such a pleasure to work with as the Jefferson Service Manager. He has helped resolve many of our 30 day items on the list in a timely manner and that's why we only have a few items left on the list. He has made our experience with Jefferson Homes - 1000% better in the past few weeks after the delays due to the pandemic and since the last service manager departed Jefferson earlier this year. A shout out to Barry, Chris and Jessica too - thank you for helping us out in the early days for our open PDI issues. We look forward to the continued collaboration with Jefferson and Max to close out our 30 day and 1 year lists in 2023! Thanks again!!
