Do not buy their income replacement policy. It is misleading at best. Paid for over two years for a $700 per week coverage and when my claim was approved, they subtracted my CPP from the $700. It is stated in the definition section I find out but was never mentioned when the sales pitch was being given. Also you better have money saved up to tide u over as their review took over a month once the claim was filed. They say 5 days for initial review but after that dont hold your breath. I never would of signed up if I had been told they deduct other incomes. Be very wary of their sales methods. 22/11/10. After some negotiation and concerns re wording of the plan, the management of National Truck League and I came to an agreement and have completely settled our issues. There was confusion at times but they addressed all of my concerns. If you have an issue, they will at least take the time to discuss them with you.
