I have been practising yoga with Dominique for 5 years now, both in-class and online. Dominique is a highly trained and knowledgeable teacher who offers a unique combination of strength, mobility, and stretch in her classes that are suitable for all levels of experience. She has a repertoire of alternative movements to accommodate different levels of flexibility and practical suggestions for those practising from home who may not have all the equipment found in the studio. Dominique gives instructions clearly in a calm, relaxing manner. She recognizes that each body is unique and there is absolutely no pressure for anyone to conform and mimic her movements perfectly. Dominique's classes are challenging - yet achievable. She makes everyone feel welcome and part of the class, even when you are online. I highly recommend her yoga classes. DorothyAnn

Dominique is an amazing teacher and trainer. I have struggled with pretty debilitating lower back pain for a few years now due to an injury and in just a few months working with Dominique, she's helped me regain a much fuller range of movement and fewer back spasms. I highly recommend working with her!

For two years I worked as a student with Dom, I set my goals of learning how to support myself and my body: At the start- I allowed myself to accept myself, my body and life situation. Working with Dom, it was easier and easier to accept my body, however it felt or looked to me. Doms presence made a difference, Doms programs and teaching allowed and encouraged me to feel my own needs in yoga and in my workouts: She was creatively responsive to my challenges and our shared insights regarding my learning journey. Of course yoga and workout practices influenced my daily life; Accepting what I needed from life became easier too. -Dom is a superb teacher who leads her student to the threshold of their own wisdom - in their body and in their life. Doms specialty, pelvic health, is such a gift. I have found that all of my teachers of meditation, well-being, mindfulness, and yoga, recognize how the powerful support of pelvic health, diaphragmatic breathing, is for our overall well-being. I enjoyed, and still enjoy the support of the pelvic health exercises and practices Dom taught me. . Its been almost two years since I worked with her, and I still find the investment of my time with her is one that continues to support me in living fully, and this investment certainly gives me a strong foundation for fitness, fun, and inner peace. My sessions at Body Mind Fitness have been a total game changer. I had been working out on my own for about a year but was struggling with constant back, core, and pelvic floor issues. Dominique was able assess my issues and created a fitness plan that took us right to the root of the problem. She taught me the proper ways to breathe and stand to protect and strengthen my core and back, as well as ways to modify movements that were causing me issues. Each new workout built upon the previous one and over time I went from someone who could barely bend over to someone who could do squats and lunges pain free! I would highly recommend Body Mind Fitness to anyone, whether you are a beginner, new mom, or someone who just needs some fine tuning to your workout routine. Dominique truly cares about her clients and goes above and beyond to see them succeed.
