The Heart of Hastings Hospice

The staff (Kaitlyn & Rachel etc.) were exceptional and truly went above and beyond during a very difficult time for our family. The care and support they provided to my mother was second to none. I highly recommend The Heart of Hastings Hospice for anyone considering hospice care. Amazing house and incredible staff!

This is a wonderful place to work. On a personal note: When my grandmother was in her final days, I reached out to Hospice and they moved in high speed to make space for her. Unfortunately my grandmother passed before transfer, but I will be forever grateful to Heidi and Dr. Webb as well as staff for moving so quickly to ready the newly renovated space in this beautiful home for her. When you put your family member in the hands of this incredible team of hospice staff - you can hang up your caregiver hat and be family again.

My mother was at end of life, & we had her transferred here. These people took such wonderful care of her, & us. We could not be any more thankful to everyone here, from Doctor, nurses, & all the volunteers. Mom Was kept comfortable at all times, & they were so empathetic to us as well as her. The facilities are wonderful, with areas in cabinets & fridge for us & Mom. A bedroom with ensuite was provided for my out of town sisters. This was an excellent home. I say home, because thats exactly what it felt like home.

This home is a wonderful place to work. I cant say enough about how much the volunteers, workers and local supporters give to ensure a caring and supportive environment for both the patients and their families.
