Sona is the most kind and caring person ever and was such a dream to work with for our wedding cake! She really tried to incorporate both of our styles into our cake and worked with our florist to ensure the colours and flowers matched. She really goes above and beyond to make your perfect cake and we couldnt be happier with how it turned out! Not to mention her cakes are simply delicious and all our guests raved about good it was!

Lima cakes created my dream wedding cake and favours for my special day. My experience with Lima Cakes has been nothing but perfect. From initial meeting, to cake tasting and cake delivery has been exceptional. When I saw my cake on my wedding day I was in LOVE! Sona is both a genius and an artist at what she does. Sona of Lima Cakes is the most artistic and creative cake artist you can have in Toronto. At first, cakes were not high on my list of priorities and I thought I would save money by getting a generic cake anywhere. But the more I looked at Sonas creations the more I could not help myself - I needed her artistry to tie together the vision I had for the wedding! No other artist even comes close to the work Sona does. She painstakingly created sugar flowers so realistic our guests did not even believe they werent real. Petal by petal she recreated the floral composition of my wedding from my florist, and even added sugar grapes and figs to finish the dreamy vision. Soma is a world renowned cake artist who teaches her craft all over the world; if you have a chance to have her create a piece of edible art for your wedding, dont hesitate and book her fast.

We had such an amazing experience with the one and only exclusive cake creator Lima Cakes. We were so honoured to be chosen as one of her cakes she wanted to design for our wedding. She only does a handful of cakes a month so we were a little nervous at first. She helped us with rescheduling because of Covid and when the time came, she stepped up big and delivered. Everybody loved it. We loved it. She loved it. My husband is 65 so we wanted a cake that stood tall beside him. This multi layered masterpiece was the perfect ratio and height. The slab cake was very raspberry and it was heavenly. As is tradition with all weddings, you always get left over cake for post wedding munchies. Cake tasted perfect day of, and the cake tasted perfect a week after. She uses fresh ingredients so freezing was a must but still tasted good once defrosted. We had a very good experience with her from the first moment we walked in to the tasting to her vision boards to her final delivery. Thank you from Robert and Maria.

All I can say is WOW! From start to finish, the professionalism, attention to detail, and care from Sona at LiMa cakes was more than I could have ever asked for. She worked very closely with my husband and I to make all our cake dreams come true. Every single cake she makes is just simply STUNNING! From late at night texts, to sending progress photos, asking many questions, she can really bring any vision to life. The actual cake flavors are amazing! Unique and tasty, she has many options and will work directly with individuals flavor palete. Knowing we were having a very wine forward wedding, she curated and suggested Cassis Liqueur to help bring out the wine flavors. Lemon, Black Currant, and Cassis cake of my dreams! It was AMAZING, and I am not complaining that I ate cake for a week after my wedding - trust me, you want to order extra to bring home! I am beyond thrilled for how my wedding cake came out and would highly recommend LiMa cakes to everyone. She is the best of the best in the industry, a true artist! I cannot wait for my next cake with LiMa. Thank you!!!!
