"Not Worth It" Got my gv80 9 months ago and was impressed by the styling and detail it brings. Engine light occurs 2 months in and the dealership took couple weeks and said it was a gas valve issue. Replaced it and the same light and problem occurred again. Another trip to the service department, again, not fixed as the light came on immediately after the visit. So here we go again, this time they said they need the actual people who design this car to take a look at what's wrong. So they kindly provided me the loner, but I didn't know that kindness have to last 3 months. After 3 months with the loner, they said we ordered a part but it was damaged and the next shipment is going to take another months. At this point, I am very disappointed and was seeking for customer care as this car is an absolute lemon. The management of the customer care claimed a 24hr response on the compensation. It didn't happen In conclusion, I bought myself in all those praise that Genesis has received from car reviewers and the social medias, etc. However, the actual ownership did not live up to its hype and it's after-sale experience is a nightmare. I do not how reliable it is but I can assure you can get at least one out of the reliability and customer care from other "luxury" car brands. So for those who's reading this review and was considering on purchasing a Genesis, think twice...

I never write reviews but I have to for this This has been the worst ownership experience I've ever had. My Genesis 2019 G70 has been in the shop for more than 8 months since I've had it. The vehicle rolled back about 3 feet on my driveway one night the vehicle accelerated into my garage as I was stopping on the driveway (caught on camera) - they gave me, "it's the floormats" spiel initially. They kept the vehicle for months to investigate and found "nothing" As soon as I got the car back I was able to reproduce the problem by starting to drive right after a cold start (~< -15 C) ... you know Canada gets cold... After this Genesis dealership had another look and admitted that something WAS actually wrong with the vehicle - they changed something the won't supply me with a record of what work was done now my AC and sunroof don't work UPDATE: after nearly 2 years of back and forth, it was discovered that the root cause is ice build-up in the brake booster. Of course, they have maintained their position that this has nothing to do with the car's ability to stop in cold temperatures...

Recently had delivery of my GV60 Advanced trim in Atacama Copper from Genesis Yorkdale. A week later had my 2nd delivery and it was a great overall overview of the vehicle and its features. Would totally recommend, and especially if you're not into reading manuals
