My review is not a reflection of this company's work because we didn't get that far. We received a $250 gift certificate from friends and family back in 2019 after a tragedy. The first attempt to use the certificate was unsuccessful because we weren't ready. However, subsequent attempts were horrible. We tried to schedule a service in March 2021 when we purchased a property and it almost sounded like they were annoyed to have to honour the gift certificate, which by the way, we were told won't expire but they had a hard time tracking the validity/existence of the certificate. Ultimately, we were told that due to the pandemic, we would have to supply all the equipment and cleaning supplies. They would only be sending employees for labour. We declined and advised we would try when restrictions were lifted. Anyways, our most recent attempt was February of this year. I've left several messages and no return call. It's now July and we've basically given up. I'm embarrassed and ashamed to have to explain to our friends and family who purchased the certificate for us.

Norie is a class act. This was my first time using the company, so upon Norie's arrival, I had many questions (i.e., what services and add-ons were included/not included in my fees, expected duration of service, up-keep tips, 'next steps' irrespective of whether or not I would be utilizing the company for my future cleaning needs). Even so, Norie had taken the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and with care. She had my best interests in mind, and was on the same page to ensure that there were 'no surprises' (i.e., additional charges that I did not anticipate). Norie was exceptionally detail-oriented, courteous, professional, and just an all-around lovely woman. She went above and beyond what I had expected from my initial service request for an essential clean of our home. Definitely a 'value-for-money' alternative relative to other companies who provide similar services in the Markham, Richmond Hill area (let alone the entire GTA) -- reasonable rates for an exceptional service for your essential and/or deep cleaning needs. Highly recommend Mona Cleaning -- and if you're lucky, Norie. Services: Standard cleaning, Moving-related cleaning, Deep clean
