Tall Pines Nature Retreat

This place was amazing ! Kathie did a outstanding job fulfilling our expectations. Everything was well cleaned when we got there, spotless. The property itself is outstanding. There are a lot of beautiful spots to sit and relax, and the water is at your fingertips. They had everything we desired- hot tub, fire pit, bbq, river, freestanding tub. They even offered a mix of beverages for our pleasure - great touch. The yurt itself is beautiful. Sitting under the skylight between the poles on the rug gave a zen and relaxing feeling. I found myself sitting there looking up at the sky relaxing throughout the day. The orange wood with the hand painted scrolls made my heart happy. Such a stunning sight. The decor throughout is warm and calming. The land and the yurt have wonderful stories that make the experience even more enchanting. There is a lot of privacy here and the hosts are beautiful and kind people. I would strongly recommend booking !

My wife and I had an amazing time for her birthday in February. The yurt was spectacular and the grounds are so beautiful during the wintertime. The yurt was authentic and had an amazing view of the stars through its windowed ceiling. It also has all the modern luxuries one would need. The grounds are surrounded by beautiful trees and hiking trails, which are great for snowshoeing and bird-watching. The hosts, Katherine and William, thought of every little detail to make our stay enjoyable. They were super responsive and helpful to any questions or needs. We would definitely recommend this to family and friends. It is a must-try experience!
