Wait time was 2 hours more then told for a simple tire swap... After making a prior appointment.

Visited Canadian Tire Store Minden for the last time. Wanted to spend $2000 on a sale item that wasnt in stock (as is often the case) Requested a rain check nope not from that store. Rudely told I could pay ahead for one sight unseen and wait 2-3 weeks. I agreed and asked about returns in the event that it was, as a lot of items, imported, poorly made or not as in flyer, Sour Patti well call her, sneered venomously because I was interrupting her social time behind the (lack of customer service desk) I was crustily informed no returns unless unopened in original packaging. Asking how I might inspect the item I was curtly informed I didnt need to inspect it measurements were in the flyer. Such poor people skills and rude responses flabbergasted me. The owner must be aware of such callous, unacceptable, untrained and flat out ignorant employees. When I questioned this poor treatment and uncalled for customer service I was flippantly told if I didnt like it go elsewhere. I fully intend to follow that advice. Apparently there are several others with similar experiences. Just a word to the wise. End of rant!

Great store, great products at great prices, great people, great service, great location with a gas station and a great sausage / hot dog stand to boot

It used to be the best. It used to the man store. Now it's like a mini Walmart. Same made in china c4ap. But I know away they can impress their share holders and put CT way ahead of the others. Let's set a meeting.
