I get that prices went up every where. But $350 for highlights and a root touch-up at a First Choice seems a bit excessive. I was paying the same amount at a salon in Square One. Having said that, my highlights did turn out very nice. The hairdresser was very meticulous and did a lovely job with the colour.

Did hair cut but no hair wash and Manger is just focused on money . Worst service for $35 haircut for young girl.

Had a nice haircut experience at SmartStyle, specifically from a lady by the name of Spring. She was kind, courteous, accommodating, and understanding. She was able to discuss my haircut options with me and then cut my hair as discussed. Would highly recommend her.

I usually go to this place to get my hair done. I have never had any problem prior to this recent visit. I went on Thursday, June 9th to get my root touch up. Spring was the one who attended me. After spending almost 2 hours, I asked her if the greys are covered completely. She very confidently said that the product they use has the 100% coverage guarantee. She just quickly, like for less that 2 min dried my hair and applied some cream. I trusted her fully and left. I felt my hair so brittle and hard on my way home. When I reached home, checked my hair and to my surprise, most of my root was still grey. The place was closed by that time. Next day after finishing my work, I went to the location. Spring had left by that time. Sangeeta didnt want to talk to me or didnt want to take any responsibility as she was not the one doing it, but she did acknowledge that greys were still there. I took the regional manager ph number and called and left a message on the voicemail. Sangeeta claimed that the always return the call. I waited until Tuesday overnight, June 14th and havent received any call yet. Didnt want to leave a review here but I was left with no option. I wasted my $90+ for nothing. Spring was polite and nice but I didnt get the service I paid for. Very disappointed. I hope and expect I will receive a response. I did take a couple pictures of my hair in front of Sangeeta on Friday, June 10th (the following day) which I can forward upon request.
