Absolutely the worst experience! Booked an appointment for a balayage after seeing what I thought was a great salon on Instagram. They did not use any detangler and literally ripped the hair off my head. They then proceeded to tell me that I needed a trim after all the damage they did. My hair was freshly cut a month prior. Extremely disappointed and expected one on one service for the cost. It feels like a sweat shop salon being pushed around and having so many people work on my hair. They are way overbooked and should instead take less appointments so the customers feel taken care of. Honestly, I feel traumatized by the experience and don't when I will feel comfortable to walk into another salon after all the damage. They should spend time with the paying customers in the salon instead of the hours they spend photographing the models for social media....Very misleading and would never recommend this salon!!! This rating is just based on my interaction with the receptionist. The work Diana has on Instagram is phenomenal. I have anxiety around damage to my hair because of a really bad experience when I was young so I have been waiting _years_ to find someone I would trust with my hair. I made a request to see Diana knowing she has a long waitlist. I got a call within hours (thank you for the prompt response) to book in. They immediately told me Diana isnt available and has referred me to another artist and asked me what time I want to see them to get the work done right away this Saturday, without any consideration on whether Id like to see this other designer (I wasnt even told their name), if I need a consult, or if I have any questions around getting an estimate. I wanted to ask if I could be added to Dianas list, see if its possible to come in for a consult to get a better idea for whats feasible for my hair, cost and maintenance requirements. I had told them Im available weekends, early mornings, and after 6pm. They brushed me off as cost starts from $400 and then reluctantly agreed to find me a time for a quick consult. After I said I couldnt make make two of their suggested times, one at 12, another at 5 pm on weekdays, I asked if we could try for the weekend, sometime later is okay if there are no times available, she got frustrated and asked why dont you just call us when you are available. I understand you are a top shop with a portfolio of work that speaks for itself, and you are busy and trying to get to as many people as promptly as possible, but that doesnt mean you treat clients this way. I found the approach very disrespectful and after hanging up, decided to pass on this salon. Thank you, but no.
