Tacky beeping Alarm went off, people , my wife and I had to leave because it was so annoying. I told staff but they ignored me. You lost sales big time that day.

I was racial profiled at Winners (8405 Financial Drive) Brampton Ontario on March 22nd at around 2:30pm. I picked up an item from the beauty section that was on clearance and proceeding to the cashier. The associate took the item and then looked me up and down and started to pull the red discount sticker off the item to see the original price and stated that sticker does not belong here. She did not scan the item before she said. I then asked her what she means and she responded with the same answer. I was taken aback has I did not understand why she assumed the discount ticket was placed on the ticket. I was very upset has it seems like she was accusing me of placing the sticker on the item. I told her I didn't want the item anymore and she said ok bye. I walked away but came back and asked for a manager. The manager came and I inform her of the situation and she apologized and said the cashier needs to be retrained. I have visited this store many times and have never encountered anything like this before. This is very disturbing and disappointing. :(

since july 2022 I have been trying to get my refund of $260 plus I did a refund at trinity commons and the receipt said refunded . After a week or so I threw out the receipt because I no longer had the items in my posession. The second week after the refund iIrealized it did not get refunded to my account . I called customer service until i was blue in the face no one answered. i drove to the winners head office dealt with a fashionable secretary with glasses who had advised me to call from my cell and bring her the phone . I did exactly what was instructed then she started yelling that she could not hear the vendors on the phone because I was too close to her . Then some black female came from lost convention named shanique or something of that sort telling me I should count it as a lost and let the money go Aand i should leave the premises . So I left feeling like someone stole from me and humiliated. Since july 2022 i have been to the location every two weeks to check the status . when this initially happened i went to the store and they informed me that if i gave my bank number all the transactions will be shown . so to date i have had security called on me , pulled my bank transactions and give it to the store , close my acount and change my bank card because i fear it would be used . Have had winners managers roll their eyes and tell me they will call whn they have a response from head office. what gets me is i have thousands of dollars in a months transaction and you cant even issue an gift card . Money has interest growing so that $260 plus should not be the same amount . I could even tellthe manager who did my refund because in the month of july winners had to glitches with the debit machine and could only take cash i was in the store both dates and could provide it for you . ALL I WANT IS MY MONEY. IF I HAD STOLE $260 PLUS FROM WINNERS YOU GUYS WOULD NOT WAIT SEVEN MONTHS TO ARREST ME . SO WHY IS A PROMINENT COMPANY STEALING FROM ME AND GETTING AWAY BY BLUFFING ME OFF .
