My daughter has been attending Young Minds since opening after the pandemic and she just loves this place, it has been a wonderful experience not only for her, but also for the whole family, she looks forward to see her friends and teachers everyday. She LOVES Ms. Shanaz (Ms. Naz) and so do we, she is patient, loving and caring and always provide us with feedback at the end of each day, we can tell she knows our little one. All the staff is friendly, the other teachers, kitchen and office staff, they treat us like family. Toni, the owner, is a wonderful human being, she has been kind enough to receive our son for March Break and Summer Camps even though he attends regular school and has ASD, they've been able to accommodate to provide him with the assistance he needs as well as accommodating dietary restrictions (gluten & dairy free). We are so grateful we found this place, we highly recommend it!

Our daughter has been at Young Minds for over three months now and were so happy to have found them. Ms. Shanaz and Ms. Mary are wonderful teachers- theyre warm, inviting, patient, and kind. We feel comfortable leaving our daughter in their safe hands. The school is clean, bright, and well taken care of. The kids get a variety of yummy snacks and meals which are prepared/cooked on site. And they do all sorts of activities- music class, arts and crafts, experiments, outdoor and free play, circle time.. all things that help a child expand and explore their world. Highly recommend!

Our first child was with Young Minds from age 3 to 6. We were so happy with the program that we kept him in for JK and SK. The results speak for themselves. Our child has excelled in reading, writing and math and has a love of learning. We were so happy with Young Minds that our second child is now with them. I cannot recommend Young Minds strongly enough! The teachers are amazing and our kids love it there.

I enrolled my daughter in young minds and the teacher in the morning in toddlers room she is always eating breakfast n coffee while taking the kids , otherwise outside food is not allowed in the day care And once i saw when i was dropping my daughter the teacher was eating breakfast n one kid was crying on the floor , she was just enjoying her coffee doesnt care about the kids . Whole staff including manger is so rude not cooperative at all staff could not care about my toddler on his first day of daycare. They left her crying and with her face dirty the whole day. This is not normal - we've tried a different daycare afterward and what a difference

NEW PARENTS, PLEASE READ. It has taken me a lot of energy and time to sit and write this review, but I think it's an important one for prospective parents as you consider Young Minds as an option for your child. We also wanted to make sure that enough time has passed and we are judging this appropriately. Based on the rating, you can tell that our experience with the school was not great. Our son went to Casa 1 for a while, where the teacher (Ms. Olivia) had so much love for the kids and was kind and loving. The program was a bit more flexible too and the focus was on the kids being happy. This part was good. After our son was moved to Casa 2, everything changed. The program was rigid and very strict on rules. I think they take the Montessori program way too seriously and enforce the rules military style. They don't care if kids respond to the rules differently, everyone must fall in line, or else live the punishment. The program is based on the kids doing "work" (tasks) for them to be allowed to play, otherwise they get no play time. If your child doesn't feel like doing the tasks, they will sit by themselves at the table doing nothing for 2 hours. The teachers don't seem to be bothered by this, and wait for the kids to eventually break. We were shocked when we found out that to be the case. Schools are places where kids are supposed to be happy, and not be made miserable for the sake of following strict rules. The teacher (Ms. Samantha) was complacent and did not seem to care much about how the kids are actually feeling, as long as the rules are being followed. We pulled out our son the day he said he didn't have food that day because he didn't deserve it. We think there was most likely a misunderstanding there, but for a child to feel like fun, play and food is on a reward basis was unacceptable. We reached out to the school and talked to the administrators. The teachers were only defensive and were trying to justify themselves. We asked them to talk to our son to explain to him that food is not deserved, and the teacher's response was dismissive. We were incredibly disappointed. We took our son to another school close by and immediately he FLOURISHED. He was happy, joyful, loved going back, and made lots of friends. That's when we realized the school was the problem. It has been a year since we pulled him out of Young Minds and he still remembers the school, he still talks about the experiences there, and he still says he hated it (he's just under 5 now). He does miss some of his friends, as well as Ms. Olivia and Ms. Amal (who are just great human beings). I urge all parents to always listen to your kids, and ask the school lots of questions. That's the only way you'll know if it's the right school for your kids.
