I got mortgage from them last year. Gave me the worst advise and the highest rate. I dealt with Parasdeep singh from their team. He told me my monthly payment will not go up even if the interest rate will go up and when it did then he told me to call the bank and beg them to reduce or increase the years on mortgage. Very unprofessional and pathetic service. Stay away from them. All the banks and broker I whom I am talking today are shocked how these people never advised me to go for a fixed mortgage last year.

Arnav Gupta @ Akal Mortgages Inc. I met with Arnav Gupta for mortgage and I was pleasantly surprised . Arnav went in detail with the mortgage process and the documents required. He also was able to give me options for different terms and gave me the best rates. I am going to refer my friends and family members to him. I will also definitely go to him again for my mortgage requirements.

If you call AKAL, ask for Pradipkumar! Structuring financial deals like first/second mortgages/helocs can be a daunting task. I spoke to many brokers but Pradip stood out because he was knowledgeable and patient. Making decisions on mortgages is a big financial decision to an individual and there's different things like legal/appraisal/documentation etc to deal with, and you need someone who is patient, willing to listen and clear doubts, and Pradip definitely fits that bill. Pradip was always available and quick in communication and updates. At the end of the day, most mortgage brokers have access to pool of lenders and what it ultimately comes down to getting a good deal done fast, and one can definitely feel that Pradip has that drive to get that deal done, he has all aspects of the process well covered. I look forward to working with him in the future!
