DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We moved through these guys and have had little to no help with damages. Every email takes weeks to months to get a response. Follow up emails AND phone calls are IGNORED. And when we got a hold the receptionist 2-3 weeks after our most recent email. The receipts we submitted havent even been put in their system yet. Absolutely no customer service skills what so ever. And they treat you like a number.

We used Highland moving for both packing services and loading/transport of our 3 bedroom house from Calgary to Winnipeg. The packers were efficient, careful and cheerful. They packed our entire house in one day and it was great how they packed each room as one set of boxes since that made it easiest to find things and unpack quickly on the other end. The loaders were efficient, hard working and also careful with wrapping our things. The transport went the fastest that we expected since we had almost a full container load. Any questions we had before or after were quickly answered and I really appreciated having Jay come in person to do the assessment since it was the least work for me in getting an accurate estimate of the weight of our contents that we planned to move. He was right on in his estimate and the only change was that we were a tiny bit under in weight so our bill was a little less than expected which, honestly, is what Id prefer. Ive moved provinces three times now and each time in a different way due to budget or circumstances. Now that I have young kids and a whole house to move, I would definitely use Highlands full service again.

This company moved us from Alberta to Ontario last June/July. In the process, they took the back off our couch and misplaced it (apparently it got mixed in with another move). The driver (who was very professional, as were his staff at both origin and destination) knew exactly where it was and made arrangements for the couch back to be sent to us. Someone named Monique emailed my husband in July with a picture of the couch back, and he responded with our address so they could send it to us. CRICKETS. It's now been 8 months, and despite repeated attempts to contact this Monique person by phone and email, she's neither sent us our couch back nor responded. We're also past the point where we can make a claim, which is convenient for them. So now we're stuck with a couch that DOESN'T HAVE A BACK ON IT (because who doesn't love relaxing while sitting in an upright position at the end of a hard day, am I right?) and no way of being reimbursed for a useless piece of furniture. Thanks, United! I'll be sure to spread the word about your utterly incompetent company. EDIT: I changed my review from one to four stars because after I posted this, the company reached out, returned our couch back, and compensated us.
