I had an interview with this company December 2020, the Interview process had went well and the lady I had spoken to was very amazing. The position I had applied for was a casual position but the lady had offered to consider me for a full time employment since that was what I was looking for at that time. My references were then contacted after the interview process and I was pretty sure it all went well as I followed up after. In January 2021 I got a call from the general manager and he had sounded very displeased with something I wasnt aware about. Telling me the company has so many locations. Honestly speaking I was a bit hesitant on giving this review as it has been a long time. I got an email from a man named frank saying he wanted me to come into one of the locations to do an observational shift I have never heard about this before but I knew something wasnt right. He later called me and stated that I didnt have to come physically to the location and I could just do a zoom meeting with him, on that meeting he had talked about how amazing his wife was ( I am not sure how that was related to the interview), he also said he his doing the virtual interview to see if people in that location likes me or not. I had also told him I was working full time and I will need at least some advance notice and he had responded in a very condescending manner (like I cant have a job or something) He also took me through a full tour of the building and introduced me to the staffs and client present. After that he then stated that he was just doing what he was told to do. After about 1 week I got a rejection email from the company with no specific reason. I would say I was more offended with the way the process had went and the unprofessionalism I had received than I was about the job offer. Even though I believe I had received a bad reference due to some malicious/ revengeful act from someone in a higher position. I could have at least been giving the opportunity to express myself as a human being. The fact that this company is a Christian organization makes me even wonder more. If I was told the truth about what went wrong then I would have been less hurt instead of making me go through a lengthy process for 2 month. I have a job so I am not hungry or homeless and thanks for the treatment
