I originally went to Mohamed for Vital Stim Therapy for my 14-month old tube-fed daughter who was not able to take any liquids by mouth. I learned that my daughter did not qualify for Vital Stim because she has seizures. However, Mohamed's manual myofunctional massage techniques at SVS rehab worked like a charm! Though I was a skeptic at first, after a week-long intensive of back-to-back sessions, my daughter started taking her milk by mouth again (without choking) and she now does not rely on her tube feeds as much. Mohamed's techniques developed my daughter's neck muscles and improved her neck control for swallowing and for her physiotherapy exercises.
