Wonderful knowledgeable staff and crew. Beautiful journey on the MS Panorama (three masted schooner) through the Panam Canal and along the Pacific coast of Panam and Costa Rica. Wonderful day excursions with local guides knowledgeable of the landscape, the rainforest, the mammals and birds. Friendly and efficient ship staff. Beautifully appointed cabins. Perfect holiday small ship cruising!

We took the 17 day Northwest passage cruise from Greenland. Although the destination is amazing, the cruise was very disappointing. Adventure Canada seriously over hyped the experience. Detailed information on excursions was lacking and given only the night prior. Entertainment was amateur and very limited so there was nothing to do in the evenings. Speakers were plentiful but some quite unprepared in their presentations. In addition, from day one Covid started spreading on the cruise until 20% of passengers were infected. Any many more were quarantined during at least part of the cruise. Adventure Canada did little contact tracing to inhibit the spread. This was a very expensive trip and did not live up to its promotion.

Just completed the circumnavigation around Newfoundland, starting and ending in St John's. We've done a similar trip (Scotland) with them a few years ago so we had an idea what to expect. They didn't disappoint of course. Another great trip. AC brings along specialists on every voyage and they give talks both on the ship and at various landing sites, pointing out special features as we go. Memories of this trip: tons of seabirds, all being named both formally and by the local's name for them; circling giant icebergs up close in the zodiacs; special excursions for photographers (no you don't have to be a pro!) kitchen parties popping up spontaneously on the ship all the time (at least 6 or 7 musicians participating every time!) folklore, crazy geology (Gros Morne! Wow!); great hikes and walks; history (L'Anse Aux Meadows!) and so much more I could go on for days. Never a dull moment. Our room was SO well taken care of - cleaned spotlessly and turned down every night- Victor was exceptional, making us feel so comfortable! Incredible meals and special ones featuring NL's history and culinary specialties - lobster and lots of various fish - we loved it! We had to make an effort to watch our eating, everything was so good!! Lamb and moose and a HUGE variety of other choices awaited us to make every day unique. We're already planning our next trip in a year or two. This is a ship that carries only about 200 passengers, so everyone gets at least a bit familiar with everyone else - an added bonus. If you want something out of the ordinary, you should look at this family run company. They bend over backwards to make sure you have the best time!!
