I had a shifting problem and a clutch problem in my manual Elantra. I had gone to two other Mr. Transmission locations and to a Hyundai dealership. All of them misdiagnosed the problem as a transmission problem. I told Mike what parts in the transmission they said needed to be fixed. If Mike were dishonest, he could have used that information to replace parts needlessly, and I would never have known. But he did not. It is rare to find honest hard working mechanical investigators like Mike Arbeau. Service: Transmission

1)Not kept the word on the repair cost estimate signed by me. Estimate cost of repair on my car was 2700.I was charged 3700 plus tax 2)Time to repair promised was 3-4 days it took 3 weeks for the parts and repair. 23-Aug ====== I had visited your shop by checking the positive reviews. My rating of 3 Star is because customer service I received is not best. By the way I was calling you desperately because I don't have another car and had to use Uber for work and other necessary commute .I knew until the second last day of full repair that you are searching for parts but you informed me that you ordered used transmission after you received it. The used transmission you ordered as the parts for repair were unavailable for sometime. I persisted that you can still use the stripped used transmission on other car for repair but you mentioned that it is not guaranteed that you will get same car for repair. When I told to contact your head office than you said I will have to reinstall the broken part back on the car. Customer service is not only about good work but also maintaining your temperament. Disappointment for you is seeing the stars on your service rating but word of mouth is more prominent for person like me who deals with customers regularly.

Aki, had been nothing but helpful and most of all fair. He was willing to pick up the cost of the tow out of his own pocket... To help me out with my Ford Escape... Fixed it, had me come back for follow up service. I would recommend his shop to anyone.. Service: Transmission

Very Bad Service. They do the work and then surprise you with a huge bill and they don't take your consent on the work. Very expensive they double the prices.
