Hired this company to assist with language prep for the public service exam. While there were some positive aspects to it I found it to be unprofessional and instructor ill prepared to assist, namely in the following ways:
1. Instructor was late on several occasions or forgot we had class
2. Instructor often did not have prepared material and just wanted to talk. I had to prompt the instructor to get the information and lesson materials I needed. A couple of handouts take from others websites were all that was provided
3. During one class the instructor spent a ton of time berating my language ability stating that I wouldn't make the grade as my language was so poor. This was overheard by my colleagues who (one of which was a French language instructor in college) approached me after to discuss the unprofessional discussion she had overheard coming from the instructor. Incidentally, I got the grade I was aiming for in spite of this lack of service
4. I paid for time which I never received. I had 9 hours of instruction remaining in spite of a month pause because of work commitments. I tried contacting the company to determine when I could use the last 9 hours and no one ever responded.
I can't recommend and can't trust this company to provide services paid for. It appears to be a one person operation, which is fine if everything is lined up and organized which it wasn't. It was just a few off the cuff oral practice sessions that the instructor made up on the fly.
