Sheena Laird is an exceptional lawyer and an amazing human being. She helped me so much with my separation and divorce. Words cannot express how thankful I am that I was able to get joint custody of my children thanks to Sheena. She fought for me and all the hard work she did in helping me with my divorce paid off on the end. She was very fair in terms of her hourly rate that she charged me and divorce can be costly enough emotionally and financially. Sheena is an incredibly empathetic lawyer who approached the separation agreement in the utmost professional and efficient way possible. She is attentive, thorough and extremely knowledgeable in the process and is happy to share with you the next steps to avoid any ambiguity of what's to come. Sheena was the 3rd lawyer I worked with for my divorce. Not only was she able to explain exactly what I could expect from her, my ex's counsel and the court, she did so with kindness. Sheena was SO prompt to get information to me and kept me in the loop so I didn't need to chase or wonder. I knew everything was handled by a professional who had my best interest at heart, always. I would recommend Sheena Laird in a heartbeat. She wrote my last will and testament for me, as well as powers of attorney documents as well, and she did a fantastic job of it all. She was attentive, professional, friendly and kind - and she took care to ensure that I was absolutely happy with everything. And the end result I am definitely happy with.
