        An excellent vacation destination. Beautiful lodging area on Kakagi lake. Very quiet and serene. Mary and Al are 2 of the nicest, hospitable individuals I have ever met. Cabins are clean and rustic. This year for muskie season opener I will have my 5 year old son and 11 mo. old with us.... yes I will have to sacrifice a lot of my fishing while I watch my little ones but it is a treat to get away to crystal clear waters, watching eagles catch a meal, see the neighbor take off from the water in his single engine plane, picking wild flowers, etc. There is a separate area to fillet fish and store until you are ready to cook or take home. I spent my summers as a child fishing near Eagle River Wisconsin and if I could compare the 2 destinations, Nestor Falls is 10x's what you would expect from fishing in Northern Wisconsin.
