Camp was sold to new owner 2 years ago and he is an absentee owner when it comes to running the camp. Camp needs serious improvements to generators, boats and infrastructure. Camp was without power for significant portions of 2 days. Only 2-3 boats are good. Tony who is the chef provided excellent food and was a highlight of our trip. The housekeeping and servers are terrible. More interested in having fun than working. The owner let go the camp manager and has turned over the management of the camp to Hunter. Hunter is doing what he can but is young, 18 years old, and has not been provided any training or support from the owner. Hunter is working hard to just keep the camp operating at a minimum level. We reached out to the owner, Mark Muller, and got nothing but excuses and future plans for improvement. No discounts for having broken boats, no power, no housekeeping. So this and many other forums for our reviews will be our best way to help future guests to receive the experience they paid for and expect. I would not recommend this camp until the owner steps up and engages directly. Hunter, Tony and your guests deserve better.
